Roberta Elizabeth Lutz

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Roberta was the daughter of Albert and Lydia Porcaro. She grew up in Boston and Everett before settling in Somerville. She was married to Leo A. Lutz Sr., who passed away in 2009.

As the eldest in a large family with many siblings, Roberta spent her life to being a homemaker and caring for her family. She is survived by her two sons, Leo, David and Grandson David Jr.

Roberta was the foundation of her family, supporting her husband through long hours of work and providing her children with every possible opportunity. She found great strength in her faith and was an active member of churches in Somerville and Cambridge, where she made many lifelong friends. She and Leo cherished their time spent at Revere Beach with their extended family. An accomplished cook, the roots of her Italian cuisine live on through her sons. Roberta also valued the happy times and holidays spent with her Grandson, David Jr.

She was the pillar of our family through every hardship and will always be remembered with deep love and fondness.

Services will be held for the Lutz/Porcaro Family.
