Richard Greene

Richard Myron Greene passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.  Beloved husband of Marie Feehan. Loving stepfather of Lynn Giachinta and papa to his grand dog, Mattie. Cherished brother of Patricia Green, the late Barbara Anderson and Ronald Greene. Son of the late Myron Greene and Rita (Comeau) Greene. Cherished brother-in-law to Barbara Capelotti and her husband Michael Capelotti. Cherished uncle to Melissa Pingaro, Jennifer Lombardi and her husband Saverio Lombardi; Doris DeVincent and her husband Phil; Debra Fitzgerald, Phil Goodell and Steven Goodell. Survived by his great nieces, Michaela Pingaro, Emma Lombardi and Ava Lombardi. Richard is also survived by several beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and many good friends.

An avid model plane builder and flier since a very young age.  A well respected board member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics ("AMA") in Saugus. Richard's love for building and flying model planes occupied his days when the wind and the day was just right. He was a beloved and a cherished friend to all he came in contact with, especially his many flying buddies of the AMA and his many co-workers at the Christmas Tree Shop (Saugus). Richard is well respected in many circles of friends and relatives and he is greatly missed.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake Street, Peabody on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in his name to the American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org).
