Mickey passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He lived his life doing what he loved most "firefighting". He enjoyed his friends that were dear
to him , Richie ,Joe and Peter along with many others. In his spare time he enjoyed playing bingo, scratching lottery tickets and had a fascination with firefighting related collectables. Mike was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed old westerns. He was a guy that many shared a good laugh with and was truly a character who also never complained about anything. He also was a strong inspiration to all that knew him. Lastly he was a meticulous records keeper for fire buff association and acquired fire department memorabilia from across the country. Mickey will be greatly missed. He was the son of the late Carmen & Mary Pettiglio. He was also survived by his siblings Steven ,Peggy ,Louise,Cathy ,Christopher along with nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He will now be joining his late siblings Mary Ellen, John and Tucker.
There will be a planned gathering to celebrate Mickey's life with family and friends at a later date, to be determined.
