Colleen Carrigan Obituary

Colleen Marie Carrigan, 54 of Amesbury, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Colleen was born on November 3, 1969 in Boston to the late Catherine (Burke) "Dolly" and Joseph Carrigan. She was the younger sister of the late Kelly Carrigan, and the older sister of Kimberly Carrigan- Lamontagne and Joseph "JR" Carrigan. In 1997, Colleen met and fell in love with her lifelong partner, Kenneth Twombly Jr. Colleen and Kenneth spent 27 amazing years together and were blessed with two children, Christopher and Shaylee who she loved and adored more than words can describe. Colleen enjoyed spending time with friends and family, reminiscing of old times, taking rides up to the White Mountains, and spending time around campfires. She also loved to take trips to the casino and playing her lucky keno numbers. Colleen is also survived by her partner, Kenneth, her children Christopher and Shaylee, her sister Kimberly and her husband Stephen, her brother Joseph and his wife Gina, many nieces and nephews; Matthew,Katie,Stephen,Shannon,Robert,Joey, Abby, Neveah, Kyla, Stephen and Thomas and her lifelong best friends, Nancy,Louise and Cheryl, along with many other adult relatives. Colleen will be remembered by her kind heart and generous soul. In lieu of flowers donations can be made directly to Colleen's family to help cover the cost of her services. A wake will be held at Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett on Friday April 26th 4:00 to 7:00 pm, A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Her interment will be private.
